Important information
ARRIVAL
On the day of arrival, your reserved accommodation will be available from 4:00 p.m., regular check-in time is between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. If you arrive earlier, the accommodation may not be ready for collection. If for any reason you arrive late in the evening or at night, please be sure to notify the Istra-holiday representative or the property owner about the delay. You will receive the telephone number together with your travel documents and directions to your accommodation.
On the day of arrival, you will be asked to briefly present your passport or ID card to the Istra-holiday representative or the property owner so that they can carry out the legally required guest registration.
DEPARTURE
The accommodation must be vacated in a decent condition by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure so that it can be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for new guests. In the event of your early departure, please inform Istra-holiday or the homeowner.
PRICES
The price calculation on this website refers to accommodation in the accommodation unit for the number of days for which the calculation is requested. The prices expressed, in addition to the accommodation itself, also include the following: usual electricity consumption, heating in winter and air conditioning in summer (if available), water consumption, gas consumption (if available), final cleaning, bed linen, bath towels and tourist tax. Any services ordered on site, such as grocery delivery, heated swimming pool or bicycle rental, are paid to the accommodation owner.
When taking over the reserved accommodation, the landlord may (if stated in the description) ask the guest to pay a deposit, which will be refunded on the day of departure after inspecting the accommodation unit and determining that there is no damage to it.
BUILDING SIZE AND FURNISHINGS
All accommodation units (except for private rooms without a kitchen) in our offer are fully equipped and have: a kitchen or kitchenette with a stove (some also have an oven), a refrigerator, dishes and utensils for the intended number of guests, and cooking pots. Electrical appliances such as mixers and toasters, unless otherwise stated in the description, are generally not available. All accommodation units have pillows, blankets, bed linen and bath towels. Bed linen is changed once a week, while towels (two towels per person) are changed most often twice a week. In case you are allergic, we suggest that you bring your own blanket and when booking accommodation, be sure to book one that does not accept pets. Tea towels, tablecloths, cleaning products, sponges for washing, kitchen towels and toilet paper are not included in the accommodation equipment, but there will definitely be a roll of toilet paper in the toilet upon arrival. If air conditioning is mentioned in the accommodation description, it is usually located in the living area. Garden furniture usually includes a plastic table and chairs, while sun loungers are usually not part of the usual garden furniture. Single beds are usually 70-90 cm wide and 180-200 cm long, while so-called French beds are the same length, but 140-180 cm wide. Accommodation with an extra bed in the living room is usually a pull-out couch. Please report any possible deficiencies in the accommodation immediately to the landlord, or a Istra Holiday representative. SAT-TV: The satellite antenna is usually set up to receive foreign TV channels. Any additional settings and related costs are to be agreed with the accommodation owner, and any setup costs are borne by the guest. INTERNET: If the accommodation has internet access, this is usually Wi-Fi wireless internet access, the use of which is included in the accommodation price.
RESIDENCE TAX
According to Croatian law, every foreigner is obliged to pay a certain fee per day for their stay in the Republic of Croatia – a tourist tax – to the tourist board of the place they are staying in. The tourist tax is included in the prices expressed on this website.
DEPOSIT
The deposit (if specified in the booking confirmation) must be paid in cash upon arrival at the house or apartment and serves as a guarantee for any damages caused by improper use of the accommodation unit. In the event that the deposit is refused, you will not be given the keys to the property. The deposit will be returned upon departure from the accommodation facility after it has been checked that there is no damage to the property.
DISTANCES
The distances stated in our descriptions represent a straight line from the accommodation, which in practice may mean that the beach or nearest shop are somewhat further away than the size expressed here.
PETS (DOGS)
The accommodation in our offer specifically states whether pets are allowed in each accommodation or not. If you are bringing a pet (maximum 2), please notify us when booking (breed and size). A pet fee is payable on site to the accommodation owner, which amounts to €5.00 – €15.00 per day per pet.
VISITS
Any visitors to your accommodation must be notified to the property owner in a timely manner, in accordance with Croatian law. Please note that the property owner has the right to remove from their property any persons who have not been properly registered.
GUEST WISHES
Special requests from guests such as a certain number of apartments, two apartments next to each other, etc. will be accepted, and we will make every effort to fulfill them. However, in the event that they are not fulfilled, Istra Holiday cannot be held responsible and they will not be considered part of the contract. We would like to point out that only the descriptions and information expressed on this website are considered part of the contract. Information received verbally without written confirmation is not considered legally binding and is not part of the contract.
